I am an old fart, just turned 68. I still play guitar with other musicians, and give guitar lessons.
I am a double transplant recipient, 13 years ago, after being told I would not live past 60.
I play instrumental music, church music, classic 60-70's rock, and especially the Blues! I started playing guitar when I was five, on a guitar given me by my uncle, who played like Roy Clark, Buddy Holly, Duane Eddy, etc. He was, and still is my inspiration. He is in declining health. I owe him so much, as I do my Dad and Mom who believed in me, and bought me my first electric guitar and amp, in 1962!
I have been a cop, a preacher, a retail outlet manager, an importer of automobile parts from Italy, an electricians' helper, a printed poet, and, believe it or not, a guitar player.
Sorry, I bored you with all that nonsense. Looking forward to chatting about all kinds of topics here!
