I have a Fisher n Paykel OB60SVMX2 oven that I cannot figure out. The manual implies you screw out the cover and pull the bulb out.

The problem is the element does not have enough clearance to remove the cover. It hits the element as it comes out. Tilting it down doesn't help.

Can I bend the element or can I remove the element? How do you remove an oven element? Such a bad design to have to remove the element to replace the bulb!
