I know my project is more complex than your average reform (American type kitchen reform in a a Japanese house), but I assure you safety is my number one priority.

Mar 3, 2020 at 15:45 | comment | added | Daniel Griscom | Hello, and welcome to Home Improvement. There's no way that using this oven will be worth the cost, complexity and lack of safety. And, you should probably take our tour so you'll know you'll know the details of contributing here.

But a USA style oven is unsupportable anywhere else in Asia, Europe etc. Not even the Philippines. Why not just get a Japan version of the model with correct sized coils that will give normal thermal output? Are you planning to take it with you when you leave Japan? Are you 100% sure all your future destinations will be in Japan or North America? That oven will literally not work anywhere else.

Mar 3, 2020 at 5:09 | comment | added | ThreePhaseEel | Is your single phase 200V supply an actual 200V phase, or 200V split-phase? (I ask because most Japanese light electrics run at 100V, AIUI)
Mar 3, 2020 at 5:02 | comment | added | Jayusa77 | Hi threephaseeel, I should have clarified. I intend to buy the oven once I have the electrical situation handled. Here is the oven: lg.com/us/support/products/documents/LWC3063-Spec-Sheet.pdf
