Why is the drawer basket tilted in my refrigerator?

That basket is meant to sit completely in the lower slotted ridge and flat. Try adjusting it to fit down in there. You might have a basket in backwards, so try switching it around.

How do I diagnose freezer forming frost around door?

Oddest is that it seems to be evenly not sealed along the whole length. Usually over time, the end nearest the hinge will compress more than the open face, causing the seal to weaken farthest from the ...

How do I fix a freezer door that's hard to open soon after closing it?

The fact that your freezer vacuum-seals itself closed is a good thing. It is a sign that the seals are functioning well. If the seals were not functioning well then there would be a continuous path ...

What light bulb can be used for the Frigidaire upright freezer FFFH20F2QW?

A quick googling suggests you are dealing with an Edison E17 type base. This is the third most common base in North America, after E27 (normal) and E10 (candelabra). 17 = diameter in millimeters (...

Why is the drawer basket tilted in my refrigerator?

I am betting bar is meant to ride on shelf behind the raised tabs. I colored bar red and shelf green. That would give the bar support along its entire length which is sensible. Tabs keep bar from ...

Disable internal light on insignia chest freezer

If the white part is a plug, disconnect and you're done. If not, yes you could cut the wires, but if you do that you really should cap with wire nuts. Based on the size, that's almost definitely low ...

Worth it to replace a freezer gasket?

I replaced gaskets in my side-by-side (so two gaskets at one time, each in the $100 range, IIRC) a few years ago. Easy to do. Ridiculously expensive - my guess is that these are parts the ...

How do I determine why my upright freezer won’t come back on once it shuts off?

The door switch probably has a problem. That switch not only controls the light, it is also used to turn off the fans and compressor if the door is open. If you banged it and it worked again, there is ...

LG freezer door expands and produces a bulge after power outage

My suspicion is that during the outage, water got in there and stayed. When the power came back on, it froze and expanded. The solution is to empty both fridge and freezer, pull the plug, let it thaw ...

is there a diy ice bath/pool that doesn't use a chest freezer / how do I keep small pool between 2°C and 16°C?

For some reason that glacier thing is trying to mislead customers to think that it's not an evaporative cooler, but their spare parts list spills the beans. As such how cold it can get depends on how ...
