For about two weeks, I heard vibration and loud noise very time I turned on the kitchen faucet mostly on the hot water side, if I turned to cold water it stopped and periodicly when running between hot and cold, the noise would come back. I did report it to my building mainenance and when that person came up to check at that time that he turned the water on it did not make that sound and he said its probably a washer, which I said it can't be, their is air in the pipes. Several days later I was washing dishind and the faucet just blew up and erupted in my hands and completely came apart shooting that water out like a geyser. I would like to know is that a common problems in a kitchen faucet to erupt like that. I felt the cause could be by some pressure build up inside the wall pipes. f
