The original owner laid down plastic laminate wood flooring and glued it down over existing shiny porcelain tiles. The flooring has been removed and the tile is left with strips of the glue like substance. What is the best way to clean it off?

  • Mineral spirits, acetone, methanol, isopropanol, orange oil. I'd try a variety of solvents before getting down to scraping. You might well get lucky. Don't blow up the room with solvent fumes. – Wayfaring Stranger Jun 12 '18 at 2:40
