From the original install my garage door is slightly crooked when all the way up - one cable is looser than the other. Throughout the rest of travel it's level. I've also noticed that the drums aren't up against the end beating plates causing the cables to grind on the drum grooves. Can I simply tighten the cables and move the drums with the door up?
I am comfortable working around torsion springs, and understand the danger, thanks for reminding me.
My question is do I need to unwind/tighten cables on drum/rewind or can I do it as mentioned above.
Single car garage door, single torsion spring, 3 years old.
