We have a tiny house in NW Florida that we are doing repairs on. It's about 3-4 years old. It was built without house wrap. The outside plywood t 111 is nailed straight to the frame. The builders didn't caulk in some areas and there is wood rot that we are cutting out and replacing, but the rest of the siding and framing looks perfect.

Our hope was to just repair the rotted spots instead of removing all of the t 111 siding to add the house wrap but everything I have read says we must use house wrap before any siding. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Another option for us is to repair the rotted wood with new t 111 and then add vinyl siding. In that case, does house wrap go on the outside of the t 111 and then the vinyl?
