There have been, for probably most of the past decade, high-end aluminum siding products with screen-printed or membrane-applied surface finishes, most or all of which that I can find seem to be wood grain of all manner of wood, colors, patterns, etc. These were probably aimed at commercial buildings and appartments, but there is nothing preventing their use for single-detached houses.
I was wondering if anyone has any first or second-hand knowledge as to how these products stand up over time, UV exposure, etc.
Bonus question: Are there any of these products that have a stone or brick-pattern finish? All I've seen is wood grain.
