I'm trying to build an electrically height adjustable desk from an old coffee table and some linear actuators. I need a way of fixing the metal actuators inside the metal legs. I can't use the pivot on them, nor can I drill any holes into the actuator.

Anyone have any ideas? I was looking at epoxy resin but don't know if it'll hold the ~10kg on each leg and still be sturdy (never used epoxy before). I can only afford about 7.5cm of epoxy from the top (see pics), because rest of the space is taken up by a telescoping interior leg.
