Hoping someone can advise.

I had a "Tradesman ", replace a working radiator in the kitchen (purely for efficiency). I was then left with no hot water or heating (all working morning prior to his work) . He has fobbed me off for over five weeks & finally came back saying "he doesn't take direct responsibility & not prepared to do any remedial work". Offered me some contacts he knew to help sort it. As I didn't think I should be paying to rectify an issue that wasn't there previously I've been trying to do anything I can prior to having to pay someone else.

I've been bleeding radiators & now have heat to radiator in living room & dinning room. No heat in his fitting in kitchen or anywhere else. Kitchen radiator when I bleed water is only dribbling and hissing as if full of air. Can it take hours to bleed one radiator ?

Appreciate any feedback.

Dianne

  • Hello, and welcome to Home Improvement. Is this a hydronic (forced hot water) system? And, you should probably take our tour so you'll know how best to participate here. – Daniel Griscom Sep 22 '19 at 18:58
