So, here's the situation:

A person moves into a new house, the previous owners having previously decided to have the full Hive Active Heating suite installed (Hub + Wireless Thermostat + Receiver); only a single heating zone is present in this setup. As far as I understand it and from several references that I've seen on various different websites, once a Hive Hub has been linked to an account, it's not possible to unlink it so a new Hub must be purchased. In this case, the user decides that they don't wish to have the remote heating features.

In this case, am I right to assume that the Hub can literally be disconnected from power altogether, and the Receiver switched to "stand-alone mode" which will then simply enable the wireless Thermostat to function as a normal Thermostat would? Are any additional steps required?
