I'm working on installing a patio that is held up by a retaining wall on one side and has blocks around most of the rest where it is adjacent to a deck. For the most part, the blocks are level and even. However on a small section where the patio needs to bend around a few times to cover a section underneath stairs, the top blocks of the wall are now 1/2" lower than the rest of the wall it's perpendicular too. What is the best way to fix this to bring the blocks that are too low up to the correct height? Do I need to rip out that part of the wall and start over or is there some easier solution to make up for this small amount of space.
