My summer project is to build a set of stairs from the bunky down the slope in front of it. The rise is about 12 feet and the run is about 40.

I'm not a fan of dirt stairs or pavers/stone, and this is coming off a deck so I'm thinking about using normal decking boards cut 48" wide.

At this angle it will be a series of landings connected by short bits of stair.

Is the easy solution here to use countersunk Dek-Block, or do I need something more robust because it's on a slope?
