I have an old existing bathroom exhaust fan, light and heater. I want to replace this with just a new exhaust fan and light without the heater. Please advise how I should do the wiring since I will not need the wires for the heat blower. My question was how can I determine how to do the wiring? How do I know what wires are for the heater which I will no longer need ? What wires I will need to connect to my new bathroom ceiling exhaust fan with light ?

More than 1 switch? Seperate fan, light, heater? Need to know this info. If the heater is a separate switch, cap the wires. You will know which wire by looking at it when you unwire the old unit. – Jeff Cates Feb 18 at 5:31
