my oil boiler has a mawp of 30 psi and the old expansion tank was 18 psi rated, when i started noticing that pressure relief valve has started leaking 2 gallons a day, i notice the expansion tank had damaged so replaced it with a new one. the new tank instructions said use a pressure guage and set the charge/air pressure accordingly to little less than 30 psi so it will depressurize. But now even after replacing the expansion tank, i see pressure valve leaks.. does it mean its damaged too and i need to replace it?
