Background: Hi all, I have this ceramic soap dispenser seen below. After using it for a bit, it has started to leak soap where the plastic pump is screwed onto the ceramic body. I've tried screwing it tighter and it did not solve the problem. I also tried adding some rubberbands to see if I could make a better seal, buy it still leaks.
Question: What material (or method) can I try to form a better seal and prevent the soap from leaking? Most products I have seen (like caulk) seem to be for forming permanent seals, but in this case I still need to be able to screw and unscrew the pump to refill.
Any tips appreciated, thanks!
