Kitchen stove... gas oven won't stay lit.

I haven't really done anything to it, except pull the bottom cover off to see if it had carbon built-up on it... it didn't.

  • You might have a faulty heat sensor in your stove. Either a flame sensor or a temperature sensor. If the stove detects no heat, or no flame, or thinks there is no heat or flame, then it will shut off. If it detects heat, but the temp is too high or it thinks it is too high, then it will shut off. – Jeff Cates Jun 1 '17 at 23:38
