My GE refrigerator's icemaker makes ice fine, but will not really dispense ice. When you set the dispenser to cubed or crushed and depress the trigger it will make noise and dispense one piece of ice at most. Thanks for considering this problem.

  • What model is the fridge? – ThreePhaseEel Dec 11 '16 at 13:42

  • Can you post the wiring diagram for the unit? (It should be somewhere inside it) – ThreePhaseEel Dec 11 '16 at 15:09
  • Sorry, I'm having trouble finding the wiring diagram. – user63721 Dec 11 '16 at 18:31
  • Is the icemaker in the main part of the freezer? (Not buried in the door itself) I found the model online but can't tell. If see if there is ice trapped in the area that dumps into the door dispenser when the door is closed. What we have occur on a similar model is a single cube will get stuck in the flapper door after dispensing, which lets warm air into the ice maker which partially melts then refreezing cubes next to be dispensed. The creates a blockage and ice won't dispense until you clear the jam caused from re-freezing. – Tyson Dec 11 '16 at 22:40
