BTW: rather than remove and replace the boards to re-close the gaps, "kick" the joints closed. Using a rubber soled sneaker kick the board joint closed with a series of firm foot kick to the boards surface.
Jan 4, 2016 at 17:31 comment added Paul C good idea about checking for binding. One thing I'm afraid of with gluing the ends is it will just make them pop further down. What do you think about seam sealer/vinyl "grout" to just fill in the gaps rather than reclicking them every time this happens?
