If someone has a small piece of non-metallic cable (NM, sometimes referred to as Romex®, a brand name) lying around, that will have the wires you need. Or you can buy a length of 14 ga. solid white wire and strip the covering for the ground. If not, you can use any 14 gauge wire, but you need to mark the wires with the right color, using tape. Push connectors tend to work better with solid wire. | |
