adding How do I add a door to an already existing wall?

ImI'm trying to figure out how to do this the right way. Ok so im tryingI'm planning to put a door in Anan already existing wall down stairs now question do i need a header if it is not a loadbearing wall or not. Also the dimentions of the door is 80"x28. Now do iI have to add inches toa few questions about the opening please help cant remember how to do itdetails:
