I suggest you find an old fashioned thermostat with one of those, or else replace the new-fashioned one with a different new-fashioned one (or try changing the battery, if it has one) since it appears to be defective in its new-fashioned-ness. | |

I'm replacing it this afternoon anyway, but I wanted to make sure it didn't have something to do with the furnace rather than the thermostat. | |
