Can I drill another set of holes in my studs to mount a TV?

I am currently havinghave a 47 inch tvTV which is currently mounted onto studs onin my wall which is good. But

But now I am planningplan to get 70 inch tvTV which makesmeans my existing wall mount frame tomust move a little upwards to fit above the fireplace. So

So, I am thinking to take off the existing screws and drill another set of holes a little above from the existing holes. Is is good ok

Is it OK to drill multiple holes onin the studs?

Thank you in advance, Kris.
