May 9, 2023 at 13:14 | comment | added | jay613 | If you can confirm your blower is oversized for your ducts, creating a separate circulation system as suggested here would open the option of adding HVAC flow downstairs. Instead of the difficult task of adding registers upstairs, you can just take off a carefully-sized new duct directly from the plenum, through the nearest closet wall and into the basement. That will increase capacity and decrease the pressure problems. But it will make the balance even worse. The separate circulation system suggested here will fix that. | |
