Jan 4, 2023 at 21:22 comment added KMJ The manual should have a 'sequence of operation' in it somewhere. Walk through that if possible and see if you can identify which step it's failing on. That will really help with your troubleshooting as it will narrow the search space.

Jan 4, 2023 at 15:47 comment added James F @GregHill The clicks are hard to identify, but they are coming from from the furnace - power is on, safety is depressed, no other user action taken during the video. The smaller "draft inducer" appears to be what is start/stopping. It sounds a little rough when spooling down - maybe bad assembly? It's maybe 7 years old, no registration :(
Jan 4, 2023 at 15:46 comment added James F @Smith The video might be better than I can explain. There's some clicking, the blower starts, and immediately stops, then repeats. No other LEDs I can see. It does not appears to get to the gas feeding stage.
Jan 4, 2023 at 15:45 comment added James F @brhans The video in the post shows the only light that lights up on the board. It's right before the blower starts, and turns off when the blower stops. No smaller diagnostic lights I've found.
Jan 4, 2023 at 15:18 comment added Greg Hill The fixing will be easy; the diagnosing is what's challenging! What are all the clicks in the video -- someone turning the power switch on and off, or relays on the control board (or some of both?) Please clarify what is starting and stopping (the inducer I presume, not the big blower?) FYI Goodman have a 5 year parts warranty, unless somebody registered it in which case it's 10 years.
Jan 4, 2023 at 14:30 comment added Smith When you say start and stop, what does that mean? Does the initial fan turn on? Does the gas ignite? If the gas ignites, does the sparker continue to click or does it stop? Also, as others mentioned the PCBs often have a diagnostic LED or something like that, which usually pinpoints the issue.
Jan 4, 2023 at 13:47 comment added brhans Are there some LEDs on the controller board which are showing any particular blink pattern?

Jan 4, 2023 at 13:26 comment added James F @FreeMan Thanks, I've verified the model number as AMS81005CXAC, PCB is a *134 model - it is a Goodman furnace, which is the owner of Amana, and they appear to categorize it as "AMS8 / GDS8". I've made sure the text in the question is the same as the model number.

Jan 4, 2023 at 13:19 comment added FreeMan I've done my best to interpret the very dark picture of the model number sticker. Instead of leaving it to us to do so, though, it would make everyone's life much easier if you would put the model number of the furnace into the question yourself. Please make sure that the model # I somewhat-guessed at is correct so people will be able to help you.

Jan 4, 2023 at 13:06 comment added James F @ThreePhaseEel This is their online manual that appears to be the same as my physical manual - the last page (70) with board 134 is what I have: hvacdirect.com/hvac/pdf/GDS8-Service.pdf
Jan 4, 2023 at 12:55 comment added James F I believe this is the correct one from their PDF: i.imgur.com/Zv6bI6f.png
Jan 4, 2023 at 12:46 comment added ThreePhaseEel Can you post a photo of the furnace's wiring diagram please?
