Don't worry, you're protected from falling through that hole by the very sturdy window screen propped up there (yikes!) But I agree it would be hard to get a jointer up there, or a finished table down! | |

But larger workshop machinery doesn't like being rolled around so in an ideal world they get parked and levelled, then left. I'd suggest using the loft for summer/winter clothes, christmas trees, emergency food storage, etc, and not everyday items. | |
