Maybe it was supposed to match up with the notch, but that still might not make it any easier to take off. Maybe it was meant to just make it easier to pry off? I tried the hammer approach, but my hammer is a little too long for the limited space I have under the sink. I might have to try one of those smaller pry bar tools. | |
