I have a 100amp main service ispanel in amy single dwelling unit and 60 ampa 60amp sub-panel in my garage. Because I no longer need the panel in the garage., I want to abandon it and replace theit with a new sub-panel in the main house close to the main panel (I'm out of spaces in the main panel). and

Can I use a 15amp breaker with the sameexisting #6 wire which isthat's feeding to the garage. because no more need for 60amp service in the garage. but I need more breaker space in the main unit. garage distance is only 50 sub-panel to 60 feet away. What will happen if I usefeed the same wire withnew sub-panel and use a 15 amp15amp breaker located in the (main panel or sub-panel) on it?
