But I'll say battery power for things like a micro wave or toaster is impractical due to the high current needs. Not knowing the exact layout of your kitchen, I'd guess it's very non code compliant. Bare minimum is 2 20 amp kitchen circuits for small appliances. And there is the 2 foot rule: There needs to be outlets on the wall over the counter top can can be reached with a 2' cord...meaning they need to be 4' apart or less. | |
