If they are still stuck on, that may be a receptacle tab on another receptacle that is wired to be split. This may be one you don't want split. If so, we can advise. | |
Jul 6, 2019 at 19:15 | comment | added | watson387 | I broke off the tabs on the hot side of the two outlets that should be controlled by the switches and nothing has changed. Switches don't control anything on the circuit and the outlets are still powered at all times (top and bottom). I'll update the OP to reflect. | |
