@Comintern Thanks for the reply. It is an interior door in a 50 yr old house. It's definitely out of square. It binds on the top of the knob side and has a 1/8th reveal at the bottom of the knob side.

Unfortunately, I think that is correct. No guide. Full blast. No control.

comment What Should I Use to Seal the Concrete Slab under the Joists?
@Bryce Thank you for your comment. The ductwork ends in the wall opposite the plumbing fixtures. It serves the vent in the bathroom. The ductwork doesn't extend past this room. Is your idea to punch a hole in the side of the duct and have it heat the slab?

@isherwood Thanks...I'm leaving the floor framing. I'll sister them when I install the new subfloor. The issue is that the bathroom is cold in winter/hot in summer because the walls aren't insulated well. For some reason, they didn't put plywood sheathing and tar paper between the studs and the clapboards. I can see the backside of the clapboards. So, the structure is not very tight. I'm going to air seal and add insulation. I think that it lasted for 50 yrs in decent shape b/c there was a lot of air flow to dry things out. If I tighten things up, I'm afraid that condensation will get trapped.

I decided to replace the plywood. It's better to be safe.

In the end, I decided to gut it and put in new wood.

I'm definitely concerned about pinhole leaks. I have acidic water. It would be really sucky to re-do the bathroom and then have a pinhole leak.

That's an interesting observation. I hadn't noticed the trail. There was a small amount of deteriorated drywall near the sink. It looks like the previous owner had a leak at some point. I don't see any leaks now.

Unfortunately, I can't check the underside as this section of the house is on a slab. I'll google the rotted wood hardener.
