I'm the sole developer for a publishing house, doing on-line courses and exams.

We have a web designer, who typically does layouts and courses, but I do anything that involves programming logic.

Pulling it off isn't much of a problem. Get one of these (i.stack.imgur.com/fdsyU.jpg) and gently pry it off. It's the re-install that will take some time.

You'll probably have to chip it out and re-do it.

comment How do I take a live wire off of a two way switch?
Also, on the breaker panel, I like to put a piece of masking tape on the circuit I've turned off with a big "NO!" written on it. Sufficient for household use.

I think Edwin was referring to the mounting box in the ceiling, not the panel.

Are you trying to remove the slab, or just the brick on top?

comment How do I know if my wiring is aluminium or copper?
If it's reddish, it's copper. If it's grey, it's aluminum.

comment What material might be behind my old bathroom tile?
1948, either plaster and wood lath, or plaster and Gypsum Lath, which is similar to drywall, in 18" widths, covered in plaster. Seal all doors with plastic, wear a mask and goggles, and don't try to do it neatly. Just go to town on that stuff. (But watch for pipes!)

comment Installing timber fence posts using fence spike
Yes, it's that simple. Use a sacrificial stub of 4x4 in the spike to bang on. The trick is in getting them to go in on a true vertical.

comment How do i know if my service panel will accommodate a 240v circuit breaker
Also, keep in mind that although it might physically fit in your panel, you could still electrically overload it.

Get a vanity with legs, so a kid can slip a small step stool underneath.
