How set are you on having hard-wired connections to all those places? Would you consider wiring between 2 or 3 key locations, and wireless elsewhere?

Avoid putting ethernet right next to power line, as there can be interference - cross at right angles. Also, codes usually don't let them share a conduit or junction box.

Could I have improved my question by making the pictures smaller? They seem to dominate the post. On the other hand, I hate squinting to look at tiny pictures.

comment How should I terminate a black plastic drain pipe?
There's a lot of information I didn't include! This is in a motorhome. The blackwater tank is immediately below the plywood subfloor, so the drain pipe is very short. If I cut it below the floor level, there may not be enough to glue the coupling to. There are no other sources of blackwater, so the tank will just sit empty. I tried to make the question general, and to make it more about conventional construction, and then map the answers back on to the motorhome. I found a properly sized cap which I will probably just let sit loose on the top of the pipe, under the bucket.

comment What should I do with old furnace filters?
My furnace's air return is in the floor, and this part of the world is dusty. So the filter fills up pretty fast. I buy 3-month-rated filters, vacuum them after 1 month, and then replace them after another month (so sooner than their rated life) to try to keep the furnace happy.

@Eric: It's an electric furnace, so it's 240V. My Kill-a-Watt can't do that. Even the blower is 240V!

This sounds more like a rant about a frustrating experience you had, and less like search for answers. Maybe tomorrow you can revise it and make it better question.
