comment What prevents the water from flowing in a 13mm garden hose?
The path is full of dangers: several 90 degrees turns with a short radius of curvature, there is already one repair connector because I had to improvise a solution with the lowest possible cost, and there is also a little upward slope toward the end.. Despite this, I collected ~500L of water in a few hours.

The device I bought is more or less like the one on the picture: its output can be connected directly to a 13mm hose, but they sell different models that require a larger hose like the one I mentioned.

comment How to prevent pressure from dropping from my water heater?
So.. I know it's a XY problem. My parents trusted the person who installed the second water heater. Also, as I said in the question, the water flowed normally with only water heater #1. See my edit for pex piping.

It takes a couple of minutes to regain pressure.

comment Is it safe to cut throught a 70mm spruce beam with a Metabo jigsaw?
I must say I underestimated a lot the power of this Metabo jigsaw. I bought a 10 cm blade (~5€) and with the right settings, I almost didn't realize that I was cutting through the beam.

@Steven Interesting tool, I didn't know it. It looks powerful and not very accurate, as requested.

OK I'll have a try, do it slowly and let the jigsaw do its work. I cut one with a handsaw, but it was so wet that the blade could barely move after ~ 2 cm , and I had to reiterate the cut on each side.

@NiallC. OK I canceled my edit. As a non-native speaker I trusted the wording on Tester101's answer - which happens to be wrong..

comment How to unscrew screws that are barely accessible?
I still have not tested but I like it. That's the kind of tool I had in mind.

comment What tools do I need to make a straight cut in laminated chipboard?
In the eventuality I choose the jigsaw, is there a way to prevent the blade of the jigsaw to flex and stop being perpendicular to the material ? It happens to me all the time with a very cheap jigsaw, but this time I need it to be really clean and am going to spend some money on the tools.

I tried it this morning, and it works perfectly. But on some eye bolts, there is thin layer of white plastic (I don't know the exact nature or term for it) that get damaged in the process.
