What are my options for installing 220v receptacles in an attached garage? Never mind my last question: I found an answer. |

What are my options for installing 220v receptacles in an attached garage? I'll be pulling wire from the subpanel to the receptacles through EMT conduit. A total of 6 wires (2 hots and a neutral for the 220v, 1 hot and a neutral for the 110v, and 1 common ground). Do I really need a ground wire, or is it ok to use the conduit as ground? (And what's the right way to label the wires?) |

What are my options for installing 220v receptacles in an attached garage? What wire gauge would you recommend for the 20A 220V receptacle? |
