How do I measure a standard sliding glass door? That was what I figured out through my experience as well (the standard door sizes). However, I would recommend everybody measure their door by removing the trim, as the frame is probably not exact. The height of my frame was 79.5 inches tall, meaning a door of 80" height would have been too tall (though most manufacturered doors arent exactly 80" tall) |

How do I measure a standard sliding glass door? Thank you Shirlock. Following your advice I simply had to remove the trim, and then could see the wooden frame and measure appropriately. This was something I could do quite easily, and would say any homeowner could do. If anyone else wants to try it just be sure to score the trim before you do, to minimize paint peeling off with the trim. |

What is the best way to condition and protect a hardwood floor under heavy use? FWIW I have engineered wood and bought the urethane wheels. They work for a while but if you let enough dust build on them (or on the floor) the floor still gets scratched. I regret not getting a rug in the first place as that would have been the most effective solution. |

How can I repair scratches in engineered hardwood floors? Its clear from youre question that you want to repair (fill in) the gouges in the floor, but if you simply want to color them, I've found Old English does a decent job. |

How to fix stuck pocket doors? Are you able to see the track on which the door slides back and forth on? It may have become 'unhinged'. Pictures would definitely help as these doors (pocket doors) come in different flavors. |

Why has my water filter made my water less clean? I have a similar water filter but dont have the same issue. Apparently neither do any of the other reviewers on lowes website. Since you've replaced the filter, it may be an issue with either the adapter at the cold water line (to enable water flow to filter), the lines to/from the filter, or the filter head/water dispenser itself. Try replacing each of those one by one. It is unlikely the filters themselves are causing the problem. Even when I first "flushed" my filter, the water was never white (maybe a little "oily" at first). |

Why has my water filter made my water less clean? Have you tested the water without the filter. In other words, are you sure the water quality is the same as the other faucets in your house WITHOUT the filter? |

How do I measure a standard sliding glass door? @Gunner Its impractical since hes so far away. The home buyers are likely usually wrong because the guidance that exist online to do this is incomplete at best. I posted here in the hopes that somebody that knows what they are talking about could fill in that gap, not just tell me to get a professional to measure it. |
