Can anything interesting be done with Kidde's interconnect wires? The answer there is to get it fixed, not to mess around with it. Maybe the question you should be asking is how you can stop it going off for the wrong reasons. Try vacuuming them out and replacing all their batteries first would be my advice there. |

Should I primer my walls/ceiling before I spray on texture? Read the instructions on the can, it will likely suggest whether priming is necessary or not. |

Should I use a centrifugal or axial fan for server room ventilation? I agree with @Arthor, this is more relevant here. I've designed whole data centers and I have no idea. |

Is it possible to use a dryer vent as a heat source in the winter? Unless you are using your dryer a whole lot don't bother. The moisture and dust are really bad for allergies, and making it safe requires expense in excess of any savings you'll get |

Why won't my new Craftsman garage door opener power on? It really just sounds like it is dead, I'd call for a warranty replacement. |

Projects to Pursue while Studs are Bare? It's better to have data and phone cabling in conduit, protects them. You could run 2 conduits, but that's a bit overkill. |

How to add another network cable? A bit, but bending any network cable is not recommended! |

How to add another network cable? That would be a good solution if he didn't already have ethernet cables strung to all rooms. Since he does, simply using inexpensive network switches in each room is a better quality and cheaper solution than power line ethernet, especially given its limitations. |

How to add another network cable? Of course @ppumkin, but if there's a snag it could get stuck both ways. |
