Should I insulate air conditioner coolant pipes? Not sure, bought the house last year in October and noticed it was that way from the exterior of the house into the AC unit. The insulation on the coolant pipe in my basement is still in perfect condition I replaced it with the closed cell foam, which seems to seal around the piping nicely. |

Should I insulate air conditioner coolant pipes? Not really an answer to what I was asking. I want to know about insulating the coolant pipe inside the actual AC unit itself. I already have the pipe insulated from outside the AC unit all the way to the evaporator. |

How should I insulate a bedroom in the attic? What about when it comes to sealing the space in between the floor joists in the bedroom, where they meet the insulation in the knee wall attic space? Is great stuff an option or is there a better way to prevent air from leaking out into the attic? |

Can rock salt be used for sewer maintenance? apparently you are supposed to do it at night before you go to bed so no water will be running through the pipe until morning. |
