comment I broke the knockouts on the blue receptacle boxes while doing electrical rough in. Now what?
The code (314.17) allows cables without clamps on smaller single gang boxes if the cables are stapled within 8 inches of the box. If knockouts are out only in single gang boxes, only in holes filled with cable and stapled, you should be OK.

comment Wood Species to replace small bed frame piece
Maple would be fine too. Poplar would work, but it is a little softer than the other two. Also, consider gluing as well as screwing. A much stronger joint.

Did you remove the trap doors only on the openings filled with wire or the empty ones as well? Also are these single gang boxes or multigang?

Can you provide pictures? (White ants sounds like termites, but let's not jump the gun).

comment Can a 15 amp and 20 amp share a ground?
@mjohns Standards don't go down. It would be very strange for an inspector to be concerned that you followed code later than thay adopted by the locale.

comment How can I run air tubing into a PVC manifold / fitting?
Can you run an irrigation tube inside the bottom of the manifold and then just put a pierced connector under each tee? Exit the tube at one spot with a glued in rigid elbow.

comment How can I replace a single pole light switch with Z-Wave light switch?
You need 14 gauge wire, usually solid, but stranded will do. If someone has a small piece of non-metallic cable (NM, sometimes referred to as Romex®, a brand name) lying around, that will have the wires you need. Or you can buy a length of 14 ga. solid white wire and strip the covering for the ground. If not, you can use any 14 gauge wire, but you need to mark the wires with the right color, using tape. Push connectors tend to work better with solid wire.

comment Stud finding for window curtains — what does it mean that the whole side of the window frame is magnetic?
Two likely possibilities - either metal studs or a metal corner bead for drywall.

comment How can I add a bathroom fan to the existing end line light switch?
Is the fan going to be a combo fan/light to replace the existing light? Or is it separate? If so, are you able to run a wire from the light to the new fan location?

comment How do I separate these wires?
Do the breaker. Sometimes the switch has been miswired and the neutral is switched. And I always confirm wires are not hot with a non-contact tester even if I have turned off the breaker.
