Why won't my ice maker shut off? Most have a little arm that is raised as the ice level increases. Is this working? Check the arm, the switch, and the valve it controls - one may be broken. Or the water line may have a leak in it. |

What alternate ways are there to get into a garage when you don't have the opener? I don't think the lock is the issue - they need to disengage the opener mechanism to manually open the door, which you can't do if you're locked out |

What alternate ways are there to get into a garage when you don't have the opener? You might call a local garage door installer and ask for suggestions. But essentially you need to get into a locked building with no doors or windows - you either have to break something or cut a hole in something. |

How to repair this metal corner siding? he means slide the top edge of each cap under the lip of the row of siding/cap above it. This way each cap will overlap the one below it, the same way each row of siding does. |

What's a nifty way to restrict my dog run without re-installing it? is the line nylon/rope, or a cable? Browse around your local hardware megastore and you will probably find a variety of stays and clamps that you can attach to a cable. They may also work with a rope. Another option might be to take a length of PVC or garden hose, slit it to slide over the rope, and use that to create a stop before they reach the tree. |
