Window insulation in a rented apartment I use blue painters tape around the window and then put the double-sided tape over that. Worked fine but you end up with blue tape around your window which is a little strange. I'm sure you could use the same type of tape but a different color... |

Is it ok to have mixed grounds and neutrals on bars in a breaker box? When you say "do not bond neutral to ground in a sub-panel", are you referring to the same ground from the main panel or a completely separate ground coming off of the sub-panel to the dirt in the earth? Please excuse my ignorance :) |

How do I properly wire GFCI outlets in parallel? Thanks for the info. I think I'll wire up some pigtails as long as they fit in the box |

How do I properly wire GFCI outlets in parallel? Hey Chris. I'm just wondering if pigtailing wires is necessary or can you just put the load in one hole and the line in the other on the outlet itself (see the leviton 7599-kw as an example) |

How do I properly wire GFCI outlets in parallel? Thanks for the response. I have a bathroom outlet that provides power to my entire bedroom. I have no idea who came up with that idea but when I put in a GFCI and realized that the load would cut off power to the bedroom, I threw up in my mouth a little. I plan on following your instructions for #4 because that seems to make the most sense to me. |

What are the tools that every Do-it-Yourselfer must own? I recently purchased a house and bought the 18v cordless dewault. That thing is a beast and I want to marry it. |

Can I connect two load lines to a GFCI receptacle? Their advice is to "don't install it, instead talk to an electrician" |
