comment Can I start and stop a tile floor job?
I did my bathroom tile over a stretch of about a week and it turned out great. Just be careful and use common sense. Don't let stuff harden where it's going to be in the way. Take the time to clean up properly

comment Would you expect a plumber to put up plastic to contain dust for a basement bathroom rough-in?
It drives me nuts when I see "experts" get angry when an owner is micromanaging them or watching them. THIS is why homeowners do it! It's because they have no idea if you can be trusted. Obviously many people can't be and the expert should not be taking it personally.

comment Is it Okay to Snake Underground Line that has a Shielded Fernco Coupling?
Typically the pipes will be nearly touching and the fernco just wraps around the outside of them. Do you anticipate a lot of fernco surface area showing to the inside of the pipes?

Pretty sure this is frowned upon (if not completely against code). They should probably be pigtailed to make it "right"
