When I was 16, I helped build our first house. From framing through wiring and drywall, I had my hands in it all.

As an adult, I've finished my own basement (the only work I subbed out was the electrical sub-panel and the carpet installation), remodeled the kitchen (including installing our own granite), built a pretty involved mantle around our fireplace, replaced the hardwood floor, expanded our pantry, cut holes in the wall (for a new picture window), installed sprinklers, and more.
