Does adding metal plate/foil behind radiators increases their heat distribution? I asked a similar question here: diy.stackexchange.com/a/13277/5631 - at the very least, a product from radflex reduced the amount of heat absorbed by up to 45%. |

Are radiator reflectors as effective as claimed? Just as a side note, there are schemes in the UK for the elderly and vulnerable that will come and fit radiator reflectors (for free) to radiators that are on outside facing walls (under windows) to help reduce the costs, so they seem like they do actually have some purpose. |

How can I replace an integrated security light with a solar powered version? Although the answer covers the switch, there will still be a wire coming out of the brick wall into the porch from where the old light has been removed. Just wondering if using a wirenut is an acceptable way to handle this outside or if there is something else I should use, especially when there is a chance that the wires could get wet... although disconnecting from the switch may take care of any safety risks? |

How can I replace an integrated security light with a solar powered version? Would this be suitable to do to wires on the external wall, where the light would have been, too? |

Are radiator reflectors as effective as claimed? That's pretty much what it said when I looked, but I wasn't sure if my interpretation was correct. I was hoping someone here may have tried them and could share their experience/thoughts. |

How to fix drawer runners Your description of the wheel acting like a lever certainly makes the most sense. The weight of our drawers should be nowhere near the limit of the runners but when fully extended it is surely putting a lot more weight on to that single wheel. It seems like the best option will be to get runners that can handle a lot more than our drawers weigh. |
