comment What type of clothing is required when working around asbestos?
If you even suspect that asbestos may be present wear a disposable Tyvec coverall and throw it away after each use. Even if washing did remove the fibers your house, vehicle and everywhere in between could be contaminated.

comment Is it OK to vent a first floor bathroom with a fan and a duct running through the basement?
If the basement is an unconditioned space (no heat or A/C) I would insulate the pipe to avoid condensation forming in the vent when it enters the cooler basement.

comment Can I use a drywall anchor in a stud to hang a shower curtain rod?
If you use a screw directly into the stud try to find a stainless screw. It will be rust resistant in the high humidity of a shower. If your local home center doesn't have them try a boating supply center.

comment How difficult is it to cut a big (flange) hole in brittle marble tile?
I have cut granite back splashes and threshholds and I think thats tougher than marble. The blades are cheap under $10, I would try it before shelling out big bucks for a hole saw that only cuts one size hole.

comment Do I have to remove the existing 6' fence posts to install an 8' metal fence?
Depending on the cost benifit/labor saved factor you could expand on @Sherwoods idea and slide an 8' pipe over your 6' pipe. Drill and tap a hole in the outer pipe both top and bottom. Insert a bolt to lock the two pipes together so it won't rattle. It will have a finished look with no welding.

Did you let it run long enough with dry clothes that it would have made the noise?

comment What is causing the SUPER loud noise from my dryer
If you run the dryer in fluff(no heat cycle) is the noise still present? I am curious about whether the noise is from the flame bar or a mechanical noise.

comment Is it possible to replace this board in the floor with similar hardwood flooring?
If you check the closet floors you may find wood with matching grain etc that can be removed. Although it may not be easy, the mismatched grain will be less obvious in a closet.

comment How do I replace a door hinge with no screws?
If appearance isn't a concern you could leave it inplace and mount a new hinge above or below the original.
