What could cause a shower to give warm water for a few seconds, then only cold water? I'm guessing that initial burst of warm water only occurs when you test this faucet multiple times in a row. If you leave the faucet off for a few hours the hot water supply pipe should cool since the hot water is not flowing through the pipe and the unmoving water/pipe will slowly radiate and lose temperature. If you turn the faucet back on after this cooling period does the water even get warm? |
