comment How might I repair my leaking Kenmore ice and water dispenser?
You need to open it up and see what's wrong. The one I opened up turned out one of the plastic arms (for the door flap) was broken, despite having ordered the pieces I thought needed fixing. It's unfixable.

The thing with toggle bolts are they require a hole big enough for the flanges, which are usually bigger than the bolt. I suppose that's corrected with the caulk?

I think the tapcons failed because there's not enough material for them to stick to before hitting the air behind the block

comment What kind of eye protection would I need for this particular spot welding system?
I'd say you're melting metal so I don't see why a full face mask wouldn't be appropriate, along with an apron, the right shoes and gloves. Molten metal can bubble and bubbles can pop. Not to mention there's no additional material or flux, so any introduction of water would be a great reason for full protection. If the question is only in regards to arc eye - I don't think it's bright enough, but I'll leave that to the experts.

comment Does a 4x8 sheet of 1/4'' pegboard need support across the middle of the board?
You probably want to put the spacers behind it in the middle to avoid bowing, just put those at the studs.

Is that a rimless (glass) tank? If so, it needs to be level and flat just like acrylic.

comment What are best practices to run wires from outside in?
Can you remove the connections (heads) from the wires and rewire them? Are you going underground, wall, or attic? Are you using conduit?

I actually was messing with it this weekend, low (1) gear wasn't spinning at all (no matter how many times I shifted in/out) until I shook it a bit and the gears popped back into place. This was the corded version of that one.

comment How do I make carbon dioxide for a mosquito trap?
Dry ice will also work, but I'm not sure of its cost efficiency compared to propane.
