Hello, world!

I enjoy using my experience to help others. That is why I am active at a number of other sites in the StackExchange network on topics that interest me.

valuable flair!

I'm something of a Swiss army knife both professionally and in private, able to juggle a wild variety of things at once. I've worked in every kind of business that uses software. I'm also very good with tools, both IT and mechanic. Whether you need software design or assembling some IKEA furniture, I'm your man for the job. I'm generally soft-spoken but driven by clear principles.

I'm a twin, I've lived in five countries, I speak four languages fluently and two more embarrassingly. Also, being a father routinely develops my patience which is useful for moderating on StackExchange too.

I don't get it; please explain. The image clearly refers to WD-40 as intercourse lube, but how does it answer the posted question?

comment How can I remove a stuck coax cable from a conduit?
Thank you - I tried this without luck. The coax is so far in there that I can't really get any lube to the relevant spot, and the fish won't really get there, it's difficult. The barb theory sounds right, but twisting the coax also didn't help; I guess I can't twist it enough in the open end to effect any movement at the stuck end. I'm worried that it's thoroughly stuck! I welcome your half-baked ideas...!

comment How to clean a calcified bathtub outlet that I can't dismantle?
Using a makeshift half-bowl is a neat idea! The overflow drain is somehow integrated into that thing but it looks like the filters are below the overflow threshold, so the idea could still work. I'll definitely try this!

comment What is the purpose of this Y shaped bit?
If the screw-in action is too difficult, try rubbing the thread along a bar of soap first. Works with screws, too.
