How can I remove a single cracked floor tile? @Chris Cudmore - yes yes and yes !! this is definitely a time when you'll need safegy glasses or even a plastic face shield. Tile chips are thin, sharp as all get out, and they fly everywhere when struck. |

What should I consider when burying cable? @Jay I'm sure over time it would. I'd be more worried about the freezing, shifting and thawing doing damage to the cable. My driveway has been turned from concrete slabs into chunks due to ice/frost heave and that's above ground ... not sure if being buried adds more stress or not. |

What would be a good material for a portable video projection surface? hhmmmmm I could only think of a piece of large, frosted plastic ... but I'm not sure if a local DIY store would sell something like that. |

How do I remove musty smell in coat closet? depends on the circumstances. For instance I had water leaking onto the drywall on the ceiling of my bathroom ... turned out that I had a 4 foot wide, 30 foot high icicle hanging from my roof and water was coming back up under the roof and dripping onto my ceiling. Inspection is the first order of business, if there's an attic above the room, check there, if there's an outside wall, prop up a ladder and poke around there to see if there is a small hole. Once you determine WHERE it's coming from then you can patch the source (in my case it involved a ridge vent and new shingles). |
