Low temperature construction adhesive? Thanks, I found a liquid nails product that works down to 22F. I tried using nails, but found that about 30% of the PVC planks would crack. (probably due to temperature) |

Are standard light bulb bases being phased out? I have a few GE CFLs in my workshop that have been in constant use since 1998 or 1999. On the other hand, I have a bunch -- especially more recent vintages, which burn out in less than 6 months. Many CFLs have a very particular heat envelope or are sensitive to being in non-vertical orientations. |

Are standard light bulb bases being phased out? That's outrageous. I want to go buy a bunch of CFLs and throw them at whatever government office came up with this nonsense. I've been using CFLs for years and LEDs for a year -- but they still don't beat standard bulbs for many applications. |
